It’s true. It’s all true. I read all of the book… up until the werewolf falling in love with a baby. Since that night, this and for the past two months, this was my labor of hate. Luckily, its a shared hatred and the awesome folks at The Daily What as well as Jezebel picked it up. Special thanks to Melissa Carubia for providing me with an epic fantasy track and Devin Faraci for the inspiration.

I have to say that this is frickin’ awesome. And so true. I read every ridiculous book and I can testify. Um… but I’m not so sure how a guy ended up reading all 4 Twilight books? Was it a bet? A dare? Divine punishment?
Thanks! You know, I saw the first book sitting on my friend’s coffee table and challenged myself to read it over the course of a half hour as we watched TV. I was surprised to get half way through the book, skimming descriptions of the town/her family and sticking to reading only the dialogue. The writing hurt my head.
I didn’t finish it or read the other two, wikipedia and endless parodies helped there. I tried to watch the first movie and fell asleep, first and last time I’ve ever fallen asleep during a film.
So then this article on CHUD came along and I laughed and laughed and laughed.
I wanted to make it real through video, but didn’t know how accurate the information was. His article states everyone can read the baby’s thoughts, for one, which isn’t true, according to twihard commenters. If I was going to do it, I had to do it so that noone could dispute a single fact. I had to read it.
I went to a Borders and decided to read through it before my hour of free parking was up, I refused to pay a cent to read Breaking Dawn. Once again reading only dialogue until I got the the juiciest parts, which I gave more attention to. I’m glad I did it, I got even more crazy elements of the book for the short (pillow ripping, blood spewing) and had all I needed to make it, plus some great examples of bad writing that I couldn’t use.
Sure, maybe it’s a little embellished, technically Bella gets pregnant over the course of two weeks and a shape shifter imprints upon a rapidly aging vampire hybrid, but hey…
